The Council has played a transforming role overthe years in inculcating export culture and promoting exports of India's Man-made Fibre (MMF) Textiles. Exports of these items, which were negligible in the 1960s, have grown substantially to touch US$ 5,742 million during April - March 2023-24.\n+More\nFibre\nYarn\nFabrics\nMade-Ups\nHome\nTextiles\nTechnical Textiles\nProducts Represented\nVision\nMATEXIL shall make the\nIndian\nManmade Fibre (MMF) and Technical Textiles internationally\ncompetitive\nand\nsustainable\nso as to benefit all constituents of the industry and become\nglobally\ncompetitive.\nMission\nMATEXIL shall achieve its vision through\nadvocacy\ndecision makers on policy and\nregulatory\nmatters, by providing\ncredible\ndata to its members on various products and markets, emerging design trends and undertaking programs on\nskill\ndevelopment.\nMATEXIL will support members in resolution of all emergent issues. MATEXIL will do all the above in an\nenvironmentally\nsafe, responsible and\nsustainable\nmanner.\nExport\nAwards\nMATEXIL organizes its Export Awards every year to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements of its Member Exporters.  The event honors exporters who have made significant contributions in various Categories of Manmade Fibre Textiles and Technical Textiles.
